When researching from the time period of 1470 I found that a lot of things were similar. There was a lot of justification used, along with decorative drop caps. I saw that to justify the way they did they used a lot of kerning so I tried to go on and do the same thing.
Some of my favorites are...5, 7,12, and 13!
Thanks for posting, Maegan! I think you've got some great ideas going now for your type specimen. In terms of your cover, take advantage of the examples I showed you in that book and see what inspiration you can borrow from them.
