(sorry about the small image!!)Oy Vey! Well, I didn't know that you could leave a column ragged left when applying a drop cap, but I guess you can. By keeping the column aligned to the left, the awkward spaces following the drop cap wouldn't have formed. The gutter also seems pretty small in comparison to the wide columns so widening the gutter and shortening the width of the columns would create a better layout and lessen the number of words per line. The leading should also be increased as well as the space after paragraphs to break them up a bit so it wouldn't seem like such a thick block of text.
