How to mark page numbers in InDesign.
Under the tab labeled Type, scroll down to Insert Special Character, and that should open the side menu. Scroll over to Markers, and there should be a listing for what page number you are looking for. You can choose between Current Page Number, Next Page number, Previous Page Number, and Section Marker.
