PVC Lettering

Designer Lee Stokes. Poster embodying a positive message for communities in Britain that were victims of flooding.

PVC pipes come part and parcel with liquid displacement, the very fact that they're used to spell out flood gives a cheeky little nod to those bothersome leaks prone to plumbing. As well, the mass of pipes evokes a certain desperation in trying to prevent flooding from happening. I'd liken it to sandbags used to raise the banks of swelling rivers in flood situations.
He actually designed a whole typeface using only PVC pipes.
